A NEW CHAPTER HAS BEGUN.
Yesterday, the Roshelle Brago Boakye Foundation (ROBBFOUNDATION) successfully held its Inaugural Board Meeting,a defining moment in our journey toward building a more inclusive Ghana where every person, regardless of disability, is seen, valued, supported and given the opportunity to thrive.
This was more than a meeting.
It was a moment of vision, accountability, governance and renewed commitment.
Our Board came together to reflect on the work already accomplished, strengthen our governance structures, and chart a bold path for the years ahead.
From inclusive education and community-based rehabilitation, to disability rights, mental health, caregiver empowerment, gender equality, sports and the protection of children and persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, our commitment remains clear:
We are building systems not just projects.
We are creating opportunities not charity.
We are advancing inclusion not isolation.
The Board also considered the strategic direction of ROBBFOUNDATION and our ambitious programmes for the coming year, including initiatives designed to reach families and communities with practical support, rehabilitation, education and opportunities for empowerment.
π Every child deserves a chance.
π Every family deserves support.
π Every person with a disability deserves dignity.
π Every community has a role to play in inclusion.
As we begin this new chapter of strengthened leadership and governance, we are grateful to our Board Members, partners, volunteers, staff, families and supporters who continue to believe in the vision of ROBBFOUNDATION.
The journey continues.
Together, we will move from inclusion as an idea to inclusion as a lived reality.
